Traditional games of ethnic minority people
will be performed at the museum.

Online- Various traditional cultural activities will be held
at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology from February 19 to 21 to
welcome the lunar New Year Festival (Tet).
This is also
a chance for the Vietnamese and foreigners to know more
about Tet celebration of the ethnic minority people.
From Kon Tum
province in the Central Highlands, more than 20 Trieng
ethnic minority people will bring to the event gong
performance and their traditional dance. Meanwhile, Thai
ethnic minority people in the northern mountainous district
of Tuong Duong, Nghe An province will introduce sap bamboo
pole dance.
Water
puppetry performances will also be given on the occasion.
Children not only have a chance to enjoy performances, but
also can try to control puppets with the instruction of
puppeteers from Hong Phong ward, Ninh Giang district, Hai
Duong northern province.
The
calligraphy and Dong Ho folk painting art will also
performed at the museums. Visitors can join traditional
games and enjoy special dishes from the ethic minority
people’s culinary.
