Flowers displayed at the Phu My Hung Spring festival

Nhan Dan- The Spring Flower Festival opened in Phu My Hung urban area, Ho Chi Minh City on February 6.

Under the theme “Children of the Fairy and the Dragon”, the festival displays assorted flowers, including orchids, apricot flowers and also ornamental fishes on an area of 7,000 km2.

With the aim of honouring the country’s traditional cultural values, all festival’s activities feature legends and fairy tales about Au Co- Lac Long Quan, Saint Giong and Mai An Tiem.

The festival, which will last for six days, from February 6 to February 12, is expected to receive more than 500,000 visitors.
