Nhan Dan – The Oscar Academy Award Ceremony will be broadcast live on channel 1 of the Vietnam’s Hanoi Radio and Television (HTV) on March 8.

The Hanoi Radio Television bought the copyright to broadcast live this biggest ever cinema event over Vietnam two months ago.

This year’s academy award ceremony will be held at the Kodak theatre in Los Angeles, USA at 5pm on March 7 (8am on March 8 in Vietnam)

HTV will air live all three parts of the ceremony, including on the Red cCrpet, Pre- Academy Awards and Academy Awards.

Also, HTV will spend 15 minutes before and after the live broadcast to introduce the history of the academy awards, screen comments of Vietnamese movie experts. 

Oscars are awarded to 24 categories, including this year’s best picture, best actor, best actress, best supporting actor, best supporting actress, best director, best original script, best script, best music score, etc.
