Nhan Dan – A financial support of US$ 90,000 will be provided for disabled children in Lap Thach district (Vinh Phuc province), Thuan Thanh district (Bac Ninh province) and Vu Ban district (Nam Dinh province) under a project to rehabilitate disabled children.

The project, funded by the Maryknoll organisation, is implemented in two years from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011.

Accordingly, centres for disabled children will be equipped with facilities and equipment for the treatment and rehabilitation for those disadvantaged children.

Additionally, about 20 medical workers of the three centres will be taught necessary skills to examine and take care of disabled children.

The project also gives training courses to parents of disabled children so that they can master treatment methods for their children at home.
