Nhan Dan - Ho Chi Minh City team took the first place at the National Women's Tennis Championships which concluded in the central city of Buon Ma Thuot on March 6.

The tournament attracted 50 players from 11 teams competing in such age groups as 12,14, 16, 18 and senior.

In the category for senior players, Lam Anh from Ho Chi Minh City won the gold in the singles event while her teammate Tam Hao topped the doubles event. Tam Hoa also snatched the silver in the singles event.

Two other gold medals of the age groups 16 and 14 also went to Phi Khanh and Boi Ngoc respectively from Ho Chi Minh City team.

Thanh Binh from Da Nang grabbed a gold of the 18 age group and Nguyen Thi Huyen from Vinh Phuc won the gold of the 12 age group.
